Burro & Pablo Discobar
Burro and Pablo Discobar is a two-in-one restaurant and cocktail bar in a newly renovated historical building in central Reykjavík. Burro is a South-American inspired tapas and steak restaurant while Pablo Discobar is a 70's themed cocktail bar with a latin flavour. Interior design by Hálfdan Pedersen.
The brandmarks are thought of as two sides of one coin, and reference vernacular and folk art as well as traditional illustration and historical art from the continent. The typography has its roots in hand made signage and vernacular sign painting.
